The prices listed here are for basic alterations.  Specialized garments such as bridal gowns, mens suits etc. require that I view the garment to get proper measurement and determine the work required, because of this quotes for these types of garments cannot be made over the phone.  For this you'll need to schedule an appointment.  Know also that fitiings and the taking of measurements must be done during daylight hours since good light is required for accuracy.

Basic Pricing  (list is not all inclusive, if an alteration is not listed, call or email for a quote or a consultation)

• Shorten dress-shirt sleeves: $15
• Shorten jacket sleeves: $20 (without buttons) to $23 (with buttons)
• Take in the body of a jacket: $35 (two seams) to $50 (three seams)
• Take in a dress shirt: $20
• Adjust the shoulders of a jacket: $35
• Hem a skirt or dress: $10-$14
• Take in or let out a skirt or pair of pants: $15 (unlined) to $20 (lined) or $25 (with a zipper)
• Shorten top-stitched pants: $8
• Shorten cuffed pants: $14
• Shorten lined pants: $14
• Shorten lined and cuffed pants: $18
• Take in a sheath dress: $45 and up
• Re-stitch a fraying seam: $4
• Replace buttons: 50 cents each
• Move a button: $2
• Add a hook and eye: 50 cents per set
• Jeans shorten: $10
• Jeans replace zipper: $10
• Patches: $3 (dependant on patch size)
